Garments
Each year I spin and knit a small range of individually designed garments. Wales is renowned World wide for its sheep and I make the best use of this product. My yarns are very softly spun, producing a soft, springy yarn which knits into a very warm, yet surprisingly light, fabric.
I use the natural colours that are to be found within the Welsh flocks - from natural white, through the greys and browns to the natural black. I also dye some of the yarns in my own special colours to give an added dimension to the finished garment.
At present I am also spinning up some luxury fibres, silk, camel and cashmere, which I have inherited from my mother. My interest in spinning and weaving was all my mother’s fault - when she learnt to spin and weave so did I.
