Silk Scarves

Each of the hand-dyed silk scarves I produce are, because of the dye technique I use, unique. Whilst I think I add the dyes in the same each time it never works quite like that and each scarf comes out slightly different. It also depends how heavy handed I am on the day as some come out darker or lighter than others. I use various silks for these scarves - Habotai and Pongé which give a shiny and crisp finish, the Habotai being crisper than the Pongé, and Georgette and Chiffon both of which have a matt finish and beautiful soft drape
